Dr. sc. Donald Schiozzi is an expert in ports, port operations, project management, and maritime expert witnessing, with extensive experience in strategic management, infrastructure development, and process optimization. He graduated from the Faculty of Maritime Studies at the University of Rijeka, where he also obtained his PhD.

As a long-time director of the County Port Authority, he led four EU projects. He is an external associate at the Faculty of Maritime Studies in Rijeka and the author of more than 20 scientific and professional papers, including the university textbook Port Economics – Solved Problems.

He is the author and co-author of numerous professional projects for the needs of the economy and state institutions, among the most significant of which are the National Plan for the Development of Coastal Line Passenger Maritime Traffic of the Republic of Croatia and the Master Plan for the Development of Ports of Regional and Local Importance for the Republic of Croatia.

He is a reviewer for articles in numerous scientific journals and proceedings in the field of Technical Sciences, specifically in the field of Transport Technology. He is a permanent court expert and evaluator for maritime traffic and shipbuilding and is also a member of the Croatian Society of Court Experts and Evaluators.

He is a member of the Supervisory Board of the Croatian Chamber of Engineers in Transport Technology.
